The content was quite good, but a book of that price needs proofreading, as it is crippled with so many mistakes (they're/their/there, we're /where) that it distracts too much.

I agree completely. We were quite rushed for time on this one which was unfortunate but we learned just how important proof-reading even after editing is.
Nothing I didn't already know. It reads a lot like the guide for any small business and I don't think it covers topics specific to the Indie gaming scene in any real depth.
The concept is solid, but you skim over every topic without offering any actual advice or analyzing what’s worked for the “successful devs you’ve studied”. It’s also full of bad English.
